There are many wine countries around the world, however this site focuses on the wine country throughout California. The first area that probably comes to mind for most people would be the Napa Valley. There are some great wineries and tours there, unfortunately there are also frequently lots of people, and now fees for many tours and tastings. Fortunately there are great wine regions in many places in California. Often they are uncrowded and provide an opportunity to sample at leisure while talking with the winery staff. Some of those other areas we'll be talking about include Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley, Russian River, Anderson Valley, Pasa Robles, Monterey, Hecker Pass, Sierra Foothills, Delta, and Central Valley. Of course, we'll talk a bit about the Napa Valley as well.
